Riaktr, the leading Belgian scale-up specialized in big data software for telecom, is pleased to announce its acquisition by Seamless Distribution Systems (SDS) as of May 7th, 2021.

Accelerating Riaktr’s Growth

Sébastien Leempoel, Chief Executive Officer, Riaktr, explained this momentous decision: “This is great news for Riaktr. Over the last few years, Riaktr has developed two products which are now mature and ready to scale across different markets. SDS is the perfect partner for Riaktr to access new geographies and accelerate our growth.”

Founded in 2009, Riaktr’s journey began as Real Impact Analytics, building guided analytics dashboards and offering change management services. As the business progressed, Riaktr brought new processes and ways of working to its services, enabling customers to break silos between departments and work more efficiently.

In 2016, top-class venture capital funds Fortino Capital, Endeit Capital, and Gimv, endorsed Riaktr with its first round of funding. This capital boosted the further development of Riaktr’s products and paved the way for new clientele in Africa and Latin America.

After nine years of existence, Real Impact Analytics became Riaktr in 2018. This brand-new identity was a strong symbol for the teams and customers involved in the company during its transformation from a single service to a product-based enterprise. This critical milestone was the reflection of this successful pivot, with standard products now representing 90% of Riaktr’s activities.

In the past few years, all teams—from the product to the development and professional services—have worked hand-in-hand to pinpoint both core products’ market fit. The scale-up also strengthened Riaktr’s overall profitability, bolstering the company through the hardships of COVID-19.

In 2021, the acquisition by SDS will contribute to the expansion of Riaktr in geographies where SDS already maintains a strong presence, such as Asia and the Middle East. This will also open new opportunities in Africa by solidifying the position of SDS and Riaktr as the leading digital platform for telecom operators.

Covering the Entire Value Chain

Their growth solutions (Campaign Management System and Sales Force Optimization) complete their robust portfolio. Together with Riaktr’s solutions – Sales & Distribution and Smart Capex – the two companies will cover the full spectrum for commercial teams.
